2. Exceptions to Confidentiality

Confidentiality may only be breached in the following circumstances:

  • All parties provide written consent to the disclosure of specific information.

  • Disclosure is required by law, such as in cases of serious threats to safety, or where a legal obligation to report exists.

  • Information that is already public or was known prior to the mediation is not considered confidential.

3. Mediator’s Role

Strict confidentiality standards bind our mediators. They will not disclose any information shared during the mediation process to anyone outside of the mediation unless legally required to do so.

Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Fairway Mediation Solutions, we understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your mediation session. This policy outlines our approach to cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellation Notice

If you need to cancel or reschedule your mediation session, please provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. This allows us to offer the time slot to others who may need it.

2. Refunds for Cancellations

  • Cancellations with 48 Hours’ Notice: If you cancel your session with at least 48 hours’ notice, you are eligible for a full refund of any fees paid.

  • Cancellations with Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice: If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled session, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. The remaining 50% of any fees paid will be refunded.

  • No-Show: If you do not attend the scheduled session and have not provided notice, no refund will be issued.

3. Rescheduling

You may reschedule your session without penalty if you provide at least 48 hours' notice. If you reschedule within 48 hours of the session, a rescheduling fee may apply.

4. Cancellation by Fairway Mediation Solutions

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your session, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

5. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation. The refund will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
